Carlo Gébler is the author of eight novels — including?The Eleventh Summer, The Cure?and?How to Murder a Man?— and a number of works of non-fiction, including a travel book,?Driving Through Cuba;?and a harrowing memoir of childhood,?Father and I,?and a history,?The Siege of Derry.


He also writes fiction for young adults — most recently,?The Bull Raid.?A work of non fiction?My Father’s Watch: The Story of a Child Prisoner in 70s Britain, co-written with Patrick Maguire, was published in 2008. His memoir,?Confessions of a Catastrophist?was published in 2015 and?in 2019 he published an illustrated version of Aesop’s Fables.
